- This is a multi-week commitment class designed to guide you through the construction of the Love Note sweater step by step, with support, troubleshooting, and expert tips along the way.

Students must be comfortable working independently between classes and following detailed pattern instructions.

Materials Needed

Two sets of 40” circular needles (sizes needed to obtain gauge for ribbing and body)
- Highly recommended: metal or carbon fiber needles for lace
- Yarn per the Love Note pattern (Purchase here https://ravel.me/love-note)
- Scrap yarn (for lifelines and provisional cast-on)
- Tapestry needle
- Lots of stitch markers
- Knitting shears
Preparation Before Class
To ensure success, students must complete the following before Week 1:
- Read the entire Love Note pattern thoroughly
- Take measurements and determine your size
- Highlight your stitch counts for your chosen size throughout the pattern
- Complete a washed and blocked gauge swatch knit in the round

📌 We will use a provisional cast-on without a crochet hook.

Week 1 (2 hours) January 21 8 am - 10 am
- Provisional cast-on
- Beginning increases
Homework: Knit the yoke up to the lace section, Insert a lifeline

Week 2 (2 hours – Lace Yoke) March 7 8 am - 10
- Working lace charts
- Chart-reading tips

Week 3 (2 hours) March 21 8 am - 10 am
- Raglan increases
Homework: Finish raglan increases, Reach sleeve separation

Week 4 (1 hour) April 4 8 am - 10 am
- Separate body and sleeves
Homework: Knit body to short-row section Review wrap & turn technique

Week 5 (2 hours) April 18 8 am - 10 am
- Short-row bottom shaping
Homework: Complete short rows, Bind off body

- Pick up sleeve stitches
- Finish sleeves and final sweater details
